The Faculty of Education was founded in the 1983-1984 Academic year  upon following Decree number 41, dated 20.07.1982 becoming law number 2809, on 28.03.1983.

1998

Faculties of Education were restructured to bring the numbers of teachers and their qualifications up to level required by The Ministry of National Education.  Students were accepted into the newly-founded Departments/Main Scientific Branches as of 1998-1999 Academic year within the framework of this restructuring on the basis of joint activities carried out by the Council of Higher Education and the Ministry of National Education.
